Recommendations for a first car (truck)?

1. Alexander Harris Says: I do not know my financial state as of right now but I know the right ball park. I have a budget of around $20,000. I've narrowed it down to a couple and I would just like some opinions. I really like the 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche, the 2009 Dodge Ram, and maybe a 2007 Toyota Tundra. If I were to choose the Tundra it would have to be absolutely fully loaded. The Avalanche and the Ram are more my style and they seem to have good resale value. The Avalanche seems to be available with many more options than the others, but I really just do not know what I want. Tell me what you know about these trucks and tell me any other suggestions for a truck that you have. It has to be "big". Not like a Ford Ranger, as example.

2. Edge Says: Out of those choices I would say the Ram would be the best , It has a powerfull motor (5.7) and gets good mileage for it's size. I would't even consider the Avalanche a truck. Tundras are good , my dads tundra has over 400k on it and runs great, but has never been to good on gas.
Maybe take a look at a nice low mileage older ram (04 maybe) . They are very nice full size trucks, look nearly the same and are much much less than that budget, so you can pay it off quick. And if you like it you can move up to the 09 model.

I suggest looking at the GM Certified Pre-Owned website for 2007 Chevy Avalanches near your area. These used vehicles are in great condition and come with a warranty.
