I'm 16, do I need my permit for 6 months?
(2011-12-15 15:25:08) 1. Says: I turn 16 on December 27th and I haven't gotten my permit yet. If I get it after I turn 16 do I still need my permit for 6 months? I live in Ohio by the way. I know that is needed information.2. Says: If under age 18:■The TIPIC must be held for no less than 6 months before completing the skills test and obtaining the Ohio driver license.3. Says: You will need it for 6 months, and after your permit you can take your test and get your license, but you cannot drive anyone under 18 for a full year, unless you have someone 25 and over with a license with you.4. Says: In order to get a permit you will have to study to answer questions on a test. That may be one of those questions and it is in the Drivers Training Manual.
