How can i restore my embolems to make them shiny? how to chrome and paint?

Says: i have some scottsdales 20 fender emblems and the are very weather beaten. i would like to redo them w/o haveing to find new one wich would be extremly hard. is there any way that i can repolish them and paint them? if so what are the ways? and how could i?2. Says: Hi Jim,I don't know what your emblems look like - can you email me a link or photo? It would help if you use a Macro mode on the camera, to get in REAL close. Are they just chrome badges, or fender arch extensions to fit wider wheels under?

remove paint, tooth paste to polish, then liquid mask, then repaint.
or take it to a sport trophy shop for advice. on complicated ones, i have them do it.4. Says: Your best bet is to pop them off and take them somewhere you can work on them on a bench or something.
