'96 Dodge Avenger acceleration trouble?

1. Amanda Says: My 1996 Avenger already has some issues running, where it will suddenly "die". If I'm idling or moving slowly, it will just shut off and die. If I'm driving fast enough, it will kick back on quickly, but the whole car jumps a bit when it happens.

Recently, when I've been driving at slower speeds (30mph or so) the car will kind of sputter and slow down, even though I'm pushing the accelerator. If I push a little harder, it'll come back but doesn't respond right away. When this starts though, there's no getting past it, it just keeps happening until I park the car. If I do lose it (don't give it gas before it dies), it's hard to start again. Sounds like it wants to, but doesn't turn over.

My ABS light it on but it's been on for a while. I don't have any brake problems, so thought it's just a dirty sensor. I'm taking the car to be looked at tomorrow morning, and I'd hate for them to see the ABS light and say "there's your problem" and not look for anything else.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing the acceleration trouble?
2. Obama is satan Says: start with plugs, fuel filter, coil. have alternator checked....computer reflashed.
3. Pete M Says: That car is preparing a surprise for you that you will not like.

Trade or sell the car ASAP and don't buy another Mopar product.
