Manual 98 Acura Integra LS with 206k miles. What would you recommend for an engine swap?
(2011-12-31 15:15:28) 1. Says: I'm about to buy an Integra with 206k miles and I'd like to swap out the engine because I don't trust those miles. The car will probably give out right off the lot. So any suggestions? Also I live in Florida so nothing that won't pass the emissions test please. Thanks!2. Says: It'd help a lot to know what kind of budget you're working with...personally i would go with a B18C5 out of the ITR, one of my favorite motors honda has ever made, rev's to the heavens and has near unlimited different ways you can build it because the aftermarket support is so heavy. The K20 motors aren't bad, but to me, don't deliver the kind of experience i expect out of a high strung VTEC motor, almost as if they are muzzled a bit, but they still provide a good amount of power and the also make for a great platform for future mods.3. Says: You could buy a K20A2 since I guess you are looking for performance increase otherwise just install an engine like the one you already got.
You can use a car performance simulator to virtually do the mod and see how your car would perform after, try at source link below Tag: Manual 98 Acura Integra LS with 206k miles. What would you recommend for an engine swap?
