Need some advice about an upcoming MOT test cheers?

My mot test is coming up and im worried. my car is fine it just needs a new gearbox (not so fine lol) it doesnt go into gear sometimes but it doesnt bother me as ive got used to it and i dont think its hazardous, will the mot place test drive my car or mess with my gear box at all cheers
2. robin y Says: in the UK they test the emissions, safety of wheels,brakes, lights etc.They do not drive the car so your gearbox problem is your secret
