2. Kidworks Says: Remember when you learned to ride a bicycle? How many times did you fall before you mastered riding on two wheels? It's the same for driving. Just hitting a curb when you are first learning is not so bad. It could have been much worse. Did the driving go all right, other than the curb incident? Practice makes perfect and you just need more time behind the wheel. Learning the dimensions of the car you are driving will eliminate the curb hits. Try a parking lot and some low speed handling drills. Try cornering around a painted line both on the right and the left side which will help you realize the dimensions of the car. The goal is to get close to the line but not running over the line.
3. RUTH J Says: Get an instructor.
Learning with your parents can be bad as they may have picked up bad habits themselves over the years and teach them to you.
An instructor can reassure you and show you the proper way of driving.
4. Jordan Says: obvialsy you wern't great on your first drive but get an instructor explain to them your a bit scared and try and have a fresh sart. if you stay scared your deffinetly not going to go anywhere with your license
5. Paul Says: There are driving schools around that specialize in getting people over their fears, Call around.
