Mazda Rx8 for a first car?

1. Nick Says: I was looking at a 2004 or 2005 mazda rx8 as a first car. Not to drive anywhere too far, just to and from school, work, and around town. Is this a good buy? Has anyone owned one? If so, how is the leg room in the back, can it fit mid sized teenagers? Any reviews or suggestions would be great. Thanks

2. g Says: Yes, when running well the RX8 is a fabulously fun car to drive. However, they do have reliability issues. Probably not the best choice for a first car, unless you have a lot of cash on hand for frequent and high priced repairs.
