Can i make a baseball shifter knob?

Scotter Says: You will need to measure the mounting screw on your shifter. You will also need to get a screw mount for the inside of the ball as well. Once you have the proper hole insert the anchor with some really strong epoxy. If you don't you will have a shifters knob that comes off at an inconvenient, possibly dangerous time. The inside if a baseball is all string, so yeah the ball will be ruined for play. Also the humidity that builds in the car will waterlog the ball. Just drilling a hole will be a mess. If you are going to do this get everything ready and install the ball on a warm dry night when you don't need to be anywhere the next morning so the epoxy can dry. If you going to do it, do it right.
