Is a 1986 Monte Carlo SS considered a musclecar?

(2012-01-27 15:15:07)
1. Charlie Says: It's white with greyish blue interior, dual exhaust with flowmasters, BF Goodrich white letter Radial T/A tires 235 60 r15 tires, JVC cd player, and 2" cowl induction hood. The car is all original other than that..
It has a 305v8 with 75,000 original miles on it.

Soon it will be repainted GM white base coat clear coat.
Would this car be considered a musclecar at the cruise nights?
2. NOpublican's in 2012 Says: Yes , they are muscle cars without very much muscle . with a good paint job its worth 7500-10000 and very desirable
3. Racing Says: I would say yes, however the 305(1986) is not exactly the best engine to power a muscle car, if you do some nice mods on it you will be much better at cruise nights :P

You can use a car performance simulator to virtually compare the MonteCarlo with other like Mustang or Camaro, you can do mods there too and find improvement, try at http://www.carperformance.tk
4. JBF Says: No, it is an old ladies car.
5. John Doe Says: With the 305? I would think so... and the JVC cd player is not related lmao
