Don't you know that you have to bribe the right officials, then fill out the paperwork, wait to be approved to buy a car, and then there's another three to four year waiting list to actually get one? And you don't get to choose what you drive. If the Party says that you will drive a Trabant, or a Zastava, or a Lada, that is what you will drive, because it is for the good of the country. After all, having too many choices only encourages class warfare.
