Need help on parts for 82 Chevy?

Corporate mafia serving since 1776 Says: I have a 82 silverado what would a np205 Transfer case cost also what would a 350 transmission cost new and old.I want to rig my truck up For 4x42. Planetary Security Hero Says: Depending on where you live , or if you purchase online , then matters less , but if you are going off road , that is a little light , the 205 , and the 350turbo . Of course , beefy means denaro , so it really depends on how far you want to go , the toughest transmission I ever built for a chevy , is the 400 turbo , as for keeping it reasonable . Then , the np205 with the jeggs enhancement kit , would be pretty tough . And , if you built it any tougher than that , other issues will pop up , if you go with the 350 turbo , and the np205 stock , then the real torque can be found in changing your differential gears .3.
