When is it time to change coil packs?

straight shooter Says: ONLY change the coils if there's a malfunction with them. Theoretically, they should last several hundred thousand miles.

just bored Says: Just a heads up, the factory plugs and coil packs can easily go 200k these days, that is if left stock. some of the kids with the aftermarket bolt on crap are not so lucky, dont try and out think the engineer OK. if it aint broke don't fix it.
