How long (in hours) does it take a shop to swap out a transmission?

Are they experienced, are you doing it yourself? Are you taking it to a shop where they have a lift to raise the car? Is it a direct fit trans you are swapping? Is there is th350 in there now and swapping with a 700r? An experienced shop with all the correct tools can perform this in less than 1 day. Says: I ve done dozens of 3rd Gen tranny swaps and a good swap with no issues will take me alone on a garage floor 2 days (10 hours) to do.5. Says: About 4hr6.
