1. underwear wearer Says: apart from the horn and lights, dose the engine/bike use the battery to drive, because a while ago my bike used to choke and cut out and not turn on for about 10min
2. josh l Says: NO dont listen 2 ppl like fransisco(in english-dumbass). most not all motorcycles have what they call a stator which is pretty much a power generator. the battery is mainly for horn an lights. the bike runs off gas, air, and spark the spark on most bikes is controlled by the stator. wires run from the stator, into the cdi box(ignitor), and to the ignition coil.no battery needed to run it unless ur tryin to use electric start.
3. Garett Says: The bike uses the battery to start if using an electric start, the horn, light, etc. run off the battery. The battery turns over the starter and from the point of starting the combustion of gas will continue the bike to run. But it could need a charge
4. francisco Says: Yea as for all motor atvs or anything else it need batteries like a car
