How much does an oil pan cost for a 2003 Saturn Ion?

1. ? Says: Hey everyone my girlfriends 2093 Saturn Ion needs a new oil pan and she said it cost 600 dollars +labor which I doubt..so can someone please point me in the right direction and tell me how much it would cost?
Or if you know someone in jersey or Philly who does it cheaper..thank you

Parts for your job will include the oil pan and a rubber or cork gasket that helps seal it to the engine. I researched a bit for you, looks like parts are about $43.00 average (double check auto places though) for the oil pan, and $4.00 for the gasket, and instructions are on the website: eHow.com

Removal and installation is fairly straight forward. Use the web or get yourself a haynes manual for reference and instructions.
