Flashing blue light in car?
(2012-02-01 15:25:04) 1. Says: I just got a used 2008 Toyota Camry and when I got home ( not noticing in the daytime) when I put the alarm on there is a flashing blue light inside the car. Is this the alarm and is it going to run the battery low?THanks!2. Says: the little blue light you see, its the alarm light notifying you that its active, the alarm has its own battery that can go for a year without dying, and gets recharged every time the car is on. so no, the light will not make your battery die.3. Says: I would read the owner's manual if it had one. :) 4. Says: No it will not. It is very normal. But, you know, all the information you need about this 2008 Toyota Camry can be found in the owner's manual a book that often gets overlooked and ignored. I suggest you grab that book and read it cover to cover. It has three types of information you need to know. First, about how to operate the car from how to start it, to how to operate the radio. Second, it has emergency information from the location of the fuse box and fuses to how to change a tire. Third, it has information as to servicing and repairs to include scheduled maintenance. Those are servicing items every so many thousands of miles like changing the transmission oil and coolant fluids. So, all in all it is very important and appropriate information. A lot of people ask about the fuel warning light or icon. What does it mean? It is all in the book. Also how to rotate tires and tire maintenance and even how to drive on snow. So find the book and start reading. OK? Best of luck. Tag: Flashing blue light in car?
