I ran into the back of this mans car, i feel so bad! help..?
(2012-02-01 15:30:06) 1. Says: today at a yeild at an intersection i ran into an old mans town car... NOT HARD...just like rolled hard into him... we both pulled over into a parking lot! im 17... we got out and both looked at his car...there was some scratches on the back..BUT I DONT THINK IT WAS FROM MY CAR...he said he didnt see anything and we didnt need to exchange insurance or anything, he said there was nothing really wrong so we would just leaveso he just asked for my name and number....i gave it to him
WHAT IF HE CALLS ME!?!? ... what legally could happen...there was no police or wittness...so if he did call, does he have to prove i damaged his car...because there was no dent or nothing just scratches THAT I THINK I DIDNT CAUSE...
omgsh im so nervous its been killing me all day im super scared idk what to do, this has neverhappened to me i apologized so much to him!! ahh tell me what can make me from being so scared and nervous...also what could happen if he calls...!!!

If he calls just be polite but DO NOT give out any more personal information or insurance info either.Tell your parents what happened and what he said so they won't be surprised if he calls for what ever reason.Just pay attention to everthing when driving because it can get scary out there.Your lucky he didn't fall out of his car,flop around on the ground and claim neck and back injuries so he could milk your insurance company. There are people that stage car accidents for the money. Learn from this mistake so it doen't happen again.Good luck.3. Says: RELAX! He seems like a nice man and if he was gonna be not so nice he would have probably gotten more information from you then. Even if he did call, that is what insurance is for, you wouldn't have to come up with any cash. And even if you did, it doesn't sound like it would be very expensive.4. Says: he can pin nothing on you. he has no proof you made the damage and yes he would have to prove the damage. as long as you have no damages on your car that would match the damage on his car.
