How much is road tax on a 1.8 car in Ireland?

Ger Says: Hi I was thinking of buying a Opel Vectra but I'm not sure how much the road tax would be yearly or monthly I know it's not cheap but is it as expensive as a 1.8 or a 2.0 litter.The car I am driving at the moment is just a one litter which is cheap but to small for a family.

Thanks2. tike Says: if its a 1.8 bought before june 07 the tax is 163 for 3 months (about the same as you pay yearly on a 1.0).
if its a newer model, it depends on the emissions.
