99 blazer 4x4 problems..... (lost)?

1. Mike Says: the 4 wheel drive is activating but the front tires dont get power (burnouts on snowy roads came to this conclusion lol) but the drive shaft that goes to the front wheels spins while in 4 wheel drive?? thats as far as i got and im not sure where to look or whats wrong, im not going to a mechanic unless its absolutly needed
