Do you have to set the gap for spark plugs ?

They come very well gapped from the facotry. Unless you have some sort of aftermarket ignition system, you simply need to take them out of the box and install them properly.4. Alfonzo Says: If you don't set the gap on new plugs they will misfire and cause your engine to run poorly.
