Every time i try to race shift i grind it?

1. Jeff 93 Integra Says: So when I'm in second gear shifting around 6000 or 7000 rpms and when i shift to 3rd it grinds, same with me goin to 2nd to 4th.But when i go from 2nd to fifth it does just fine .What am i doing wrong?

2. Jose Says: You have to feel it. You dont have a high performance machine(yet. I dont know what your plans are for that Integra but I would like to know) so, for now just get comfortable with shifting a little faster than you would in town and work your way up from there. If its a stock trans then I suggest you ease up on it until you can get a new clutch and flywheel

3. Wabbit Says: syncro's are engaging too slow.. try "double-clutching. may kill overall drag race times but the gears need time to mesh especially if it is bare-bones stock tranny.
