1. sk8erboy Says: I have a 75 corvette which I am having trouble out of the carb the carb I have on it now is a rochester quadra jet and I thought about buying a performace carb either Holley or Edelbrock which one is better easier to tune, and last longer..
2. chevyraceman_383 Says: For a stock or mild engine its hard to beat a good working blue printed Q jet.. Notice I said good working and blueprinted. Not stock, not auto store sold ones. Very few people have the skill to tune, mod an blueprint a Q jet though.

Next best option is an edelbrock 1406 600 cfm. I love these for street cars and mild builds. Easy to tune, set and forget type tuning, hard for avg. person to screw up.

I like the holleys for more max effort engines, all out HP and when the edelbrock just can't keep up any more.

My 390 HP vortec headed 355 in S10 has a edelbrock carb
My 596 HP brodix IK headed engine in my camaro has a holley
My daughter's 300 HP 350 in her monte carlo will have an edelbrock once it's finished
3. rickey Says: I have had nothing but problems with edelbrock carbs I have even found shards of metal in one just out of the box. Holley is the best and only carb I would recommend to anyone.
4. patrick Says: Rochester is a good carb and usually last a long time but if ur going for performance, the I would go with edelbrock
5. rsipe2011 Says: Personally i like Holley. But its mainly just the name of the product. They all have different models of carbs.
