Very rough idle.......?
(2012-02-03 15:15:07) 1. Says: for the past several days when i am driving my car will randomly jerk, and start to idle EXTREMELY high, it does this for about 5 minutes, and then it comes down on its own. I know this is not normal, and when it does this I cannot pick up speed over 20mph. Sometimes it rides fine, other times it will idle high from the time I turn it on.What can be causing this problem?
I was thinking of getting a tune up, by I don't know if this wll help and I don't have the money to waste.
It's a 2001 Hyundai with over 100,000 miles on it2. Says: Could be the IAC or the MAF sensor. Would be cheaper solutions than a tune-up. Bring it in to an Autozone for a free diagnostic scan. Tag: Very rough idle.......?
