Does Cystic Fibrosis count as a disability to the DVLA/DSA?
(2012-02-03 15:25:05) 1. Says: I want to get my provision driving licence for driving in the UK. I checked a website which said:"To apply for a provisional driving licence, you must be at least 17 years of age or 16 years of age if you are disabled. You may send off your application for a provisional licence three months in advanced of your 17th birthday or 16th birthday if you are disabled."
I am already sixteen years old (my birthday is October 13th) and I want to know if I count as disabled. I have Cystic Fibrosis, which substantially shortens my life (by more than half) and hinders physical growth. If this disease does mean I count as disabled, I should be able to send off for an application immediately.
Can anybody tell me if the DSA/DVLA will consider me disabled?
