I need help choosing a car?

1. Amber Lynn Says: I have a ford escape that is already paid off but it has 150,000 miles on it. Its still in great condition and well taken care of but I want something I can rely on for trips down to the beach or whatever I choose to doon a weekend, and also going to and from work as a everyday car because I will eventually sell my escape. I have my own place so I don't want something to expensive. I was thinking a Mitsubishi Lancer basic model, Ford Focus, Toyota Corolla Sport, or something with space like a Kia Soul I know Kia isn't the best but I think its a fairly decent price. Any who anyone know of other cars I can get that are similar to these?
2. Kia Motors America Says: Hi Amber Lynn,

You may be interested to know that the 2012 Kia Soul was named a Best Buy by Consumers Digest and selected as a 2012 IIHS Top Safety Pick. It was also awarded the US EPA SmartWay Certification Mark making it a good option if you're interested in saving fuel, money and the environment. The 2012 Kia Soul with a 1.6-liter engine gets an EPA estimated 27/35 mpg (city/highway) for both its 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, and the 6-speed automatic with ISG technology for improved fuel economy and low-rolling-resistance tires gets an estimated 29/36 mpg. Actual mileage will vary.

If you haven’t already, take it for a virtual spin and explore its full specs at Kia.com! While you’re there I recommend learning more about Kia's industry-leading Kia 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program by selecting "Warranty" at the bottom of the page, and as you narrow down your search, you may also find the vehicle comparison tool on Kia.com useful.

Good luck with your car research,
Schuyler
3. Y U SO STUPID Says: "I know Kia isn't the best"

I'm on my second Kia ('12 Rio hatch). I've had a Soul for two weeks,, also (put 1800 miles on it in that short time). Don't sell them short. The new 1.6L GDI and 6-speed transmissions, along with standard four-wheel disc brakes and traction control, make them a viable option.
