Are dunlop fast response tyres the same as dunlop sp sport fast response?

MIKEY Says: My local garage say they will match any price if found cheaper, so I opted for dunlop fast response,but after going online and checking I found that all the other garages sell dunlop sp sport fast response tyres that are £5 per tyre cheaper amd that I can't find just fast response tyres anywhere , so are they the same and my local garage has not put up the full name or are they totally different tyres and tred thanks

2. CDC Says: They are the same tyres. Manufacturers like to give their tyres fancy names, so the full name is Dunlop Sport Fast Response. The letters SP are short for Sport, but we just call them Fast Response. Most Dunlop high performance tyres include the word Sport or SP in the name. So you have Sport 01, Sport 01A, Sport Fast Response, Sport 2030, Sport Maxx, SP9090, SP9000, and other variations.

CDC gave you some very good information. But I would verify this further. Dunlop literally makes two dozen versions of the SP tire. Check it out.
