Would any small car dealership selling inexpensive cars agree to a 50% down payment and then the rest would be paid monthly until paid off? Is this unrealistic? I also have bad credit and low income. I would be able to make $100 a month payments. Does anything like this exist?2. Says: Buy here pay here dealers exist for people like you. But, they jack up their prices WAY high so that a $2000-3000 car would cost $5000-7000 plus interest. And NONE will accept $100 a month. Most want $75-85 per week.
You might get someone down to $60-65 a week because your down payment is larger than most.
But, you'd do much better buying a $2000 car for cash from a private party. Tag: Are there any car dealerships that would finance a small amount for a low income customer with bad credit?
