1. Christopher Says: i heard hondas are easy to steal what can i do for it wont be easy to
sleal
2. SoCal Says: If you have a newer model don't worry too much. It's the older ones thieves like. The 2000 and older are the most popular for theft.

1. Get an alarm and have it properly installed. A good alarm install should leave the alarm brain hidden. Bad examples of an alarm install are Walmart and Best Buy where while the system itself may be good, but they tend to throw the critical parts of the alarm right above the pedals where it can easily be ripped out by a thief in a matter of seconds. Look for a system with a 2 way pager, that way if you are far enough to not hear the siren you'll still know through the remote.
2. A hidden back up battery and siren are a good idea as well. Get creative. Many thieves like to go straight for the battery or siren to shut the alarm up ASAP.
3. You will also want tilt + hood sensors. This way if the vehicle is towed the alarm will still go off. A popular thing among thieves is to open the hood through an exterior method, then they go straight for the battery then open the doors and disable the alarm all without a peep. So make sure the alarm goes off as soon as the hood opens.
4. Kill switches are a good idea. Install them along the fuel pump and ignition wires in a nice hidden spot. Make it as difficult as possible for thieves to steal it. Fuel kill switches are especially important for manual vehicles, many alarms deactivate the starter but the car can still be easily push started.
5. LoJack is a good recovery option. Make sure the unit is well hidden however as thieves look for these.
6. Common Sense. Park in smart places like the garage, under street lights, busy areas, up front next to the stores/houses. Avoid alleys, dark places, empty places where there's not a lot of people or activity, etc...
