Do Honda parts cost alot to replace? Need advise please.?
(2012-02-04 15:15:06) 1. Says: My brother have a 90's Honda Civic when he got his first car. (This was like 12 years ago). Now it's time to get my first car. But once one of the side panel protector strips (the black ones on the side) fell off and he needed a new one. And just for one small part it would of costed him $250. Because I'm only 18 that is quite alot of money for me.Now, I was looking at getting a Honda Civic STI-L. If i were to scratch it or make a minor dint or damaged it in either way, Is it expensive to replace? I know if i got a ford or a Holden it would be much cheaper for me if it was an issue.
Also, He had problems with the paint peeling on his car and the car becoming "bleached" because of the sun. Possible because Honda is a Japanese car and they're not made for the Australian UAV rays/heat? Would this be an issue?2. Says: Yes, car parts are incredibly expensive. No matter what manufacturer, model and year. If you cannot afford the maintenance, repairs, insurance, legal fees, citation fees, parking fees, toll fees, gasoline, oil changes, etc. etc. etc. it is my recommendation that you delay purchasing one. I gather you are a teen and with limited funds. So far in life you have had means of transport. Continue using them. I was not able to have a vehicle until I left the university and started to work. New car cost cost because they are new. Older cars cost because of maintenance and repairs. By the way, since you reside in Australia, cars are universal in the application of paints and protectors. The sun is pretty much the same all over the earth and since a lot of the earth is desert like conditions (just check the globe) cars are painted the same no matter where they might be operated. Best of luck. Tag: Do Honda parts cost alot to replace? Need advise please.?
