Sound of water sloshing in engine area?
(2012-02-04 15:20:16) 1. Says: I had my timing belt, water pump, and alternator belt changed on Monday. Ever since, I've been hearing the noise of water sloshing around in the engine area. It's not terribly loud, but noticable, and typically when I'm stopping or accelerating from a stop light. Tonight I also heard it when I made a sharp turn. I have never heard this sound before, until I get the work done Monday. I'm planning on taking it back to the shop to get checked tomorrow, but any ideas? What's going on?Someone suggested low coolant, which I checked... it's about half way between "full' and "low" so shouldnt be causing this sound.2. Says: that is usually a clogged air conditioner drain hose. the water that you usually see dripping on the ground from condensation is now in a pool inside your dash area and sloshing around.
it is absolutely not low coolant in the Eng . or bubbles or any other nonsense that you have been told..3. Says: Could be the coolant bubbleing try and have someone rev the car while looking at the engine bay
If the mechanics sys it's all fine then take it to another place for inspection and quote so your mechanic has to fix it4. Says: Perhaps the windshield washer fluid is sloshing around, or the mechanic forgot a small bucket of some liquid he was using.5. Says: Your headlight fluid is low!6. Says: check for leakes at the place where u park ure car Tag: Sound of water sloshing in engine area?
