A wheel hit my car on the freeway !?

BTW this happened here in Cali my friend was telling me about calling the insurance and they can fix it but I don't want to get charged for this !

To answer your follow up on a "no fault" claim. Simply said, it is a claim that states you did not cause the accident, or damage, to happen. Therefore the claim with your insurance company will more than likely not cause your rate increase. It was not your fault that the damage occurred, therefore this incident would not damage your rating with the insurance company. Now you still have to consider your deductible, should you wish to file a claim, but you should not worry about the claim counting against the coverage cost of your policy.

3. maggie Says: if you got the plate # of the vehicle that lost it make a claim on insurance the deductable will be waived. if no plate # you got 2 options you can buy out your claim and there will be no change in rate or you can have it fixed privately and pay the bill your self which may be more than you can afford. a hit like that on the highway can be very expensive. comprehensive or specified perils may caver it if the tire was a road hazard. that is if you payed for this coverage.
