Running a yellow light?

1. Secret Says: The light was green, and all of the cars in front of me were going. The light had just turned yellow, there was now only one car in front of me going, and I went too.

I made a fairly quick turn, and the red light cameras didn't flash or anything. Do you think I made it?

2. bridgette Says: To me it sounds like you deffinetly made it...as long as you were half way through before it turned re then you are good, no worries

You should have stopped when the car in front went on yellow light. you're cutting it very very fine.

Are you in that much of a hurry? really? it's only going to add about 30 seconds to your overall journey time at the most.

4. hemicharger94 Says: yellow lights pretty much mean "stop if you can"(and that doesn't mean slam on the brakes, lol. so if you don't have time to stop you go straight through and it's not illegal or anything.

5. don r Says: The yellow light means "proceed with caution". It tells that th ered light is coming. As long as you enter the intersection before the red light comes on, you're OK.
