Is it better to keep a car in gear with the clutch pushed in or in neutral? (ex. At red light)?

1. Bryan Says: In neutral, clutch out, brake on.

Two reasons. If the car is in gear you could be bumped and your foot could come off the clutch. The car then jumps into the intersection. NOT GOOD!

Second, with the clutch in the throw bearing is engaged. While it's not that long it still wears it.
2. Richard M Says: whatever floats your boat/i always do it clutch in as i want to go when the green shows not looking for the gear and listening to the horns
