Is it bad that i'm 16 and haven't even gotten my learner's permit yet?

Everyone(like my mom) keeps making a big deal out of it.I would MUCH rather wait til i'm 19 so I dont have to take all those useless courses you know like Drivers Ed(which I was supposed to take but I was homeschooled so I couldn't take it) and Behind the Wheel.......
What would you suggest?? Waiting or getting it now??
Honestly I could care less about driving. I dont feel like having to go to the stupid DMV and being around people and taking the stupid test..........I also wouldn't follow the laws cause I'm the kind of person who goes against the system.2. Says: No, my cousin is 16 and she doesn't have hers. But thats because of her grades and some other stuff.. Haha
But my other cousin didn't get her license till she was like 20!
I would suggest that you should get it when you are ready. Maybe get it when you are about to go to college.3.
