1. Karunah Says: My Grandpa had one long ago.
2. Mr_R_Swipe Says: I assume you mean the Triumph Mayflower. Marketed as a 'razor edged' saloon in the 1950, it was the shorter version of the Triumph Renown. The Mayflower was also the first production line model to be fitted with a 'column' gear change in the UK.

I had one for my first car and learnt to drive in it. A remarkable vehicle, it had a 'side-valve' engine that took forever to get up to 50 mph, but you could hit the steepest hill and it just kept going at the same speed.

Haven't seen one for years, but they did have a certain style.
3. Timbo is here Says: Truimph Mayflower, a 1950 forgotten car made in the UK and not since then.
4. boy boy Says: the mayflower cars were made by triumph cars coventry ..they ceased production about 20 years ago ..but the mayflowers were made about 50 years ago
5. Bazza Says: Have you seen one lately? They (Triumph) stopped making the Mayflower in 1953.
6. george d Says: Sorry Mr R Swipe. Vauxhall had column change gears before 1948
