What happened to the Mayflower Cars? Still are they in production?

Marketed as a 'razor edged' saloon in the 1950, it was the shorter version of the Triumph Renown. The Mayflower was also the first production line model to be fitted with a 'column' gear change in the UK.I had one for my first car and learnt to drive in it. A remarkable vehicle, it had a 'side-valve' engine that took forever to get up to 50 mph, but you could hit the steepest hill and it just kept going at the same speed.
