What would be a good first car?
(2012-02-04 15:30:04) 1. Says: Im sixteen and a sophmore in highscool in a couple moths i will be buying a car any suggestions.2. Says: get american ! support your country ! my first car is a 2006 chevy silverado 1500 and it ran great may not be the best on gas but it got me places and look great. i recommend a used chevy malibu or colbat and if you know how to drive good , a base camaro V6 or a mustang v6. they both have great looks and have awesome gas mileage and alot of power for a v6 engine.3. Says: go for a safer pick.four cylinders, not american, I recommend 2010-2012 Mazda 3i Sport. (not the hatchback) lol its affordable about 16-20k and it's a gas saver plus it is super cute! my sister has one.
I am about to trade my taurus in for a 2008 Mazda CX-7 and its got leather interior, navigation, sunroof, AWD (all wheel drive is so important to me lol the one above is FWD)..its got chrome finishings so its 19k, but its a 4 cylinder so its not that bad...the newer model is just the same but has better gas milage! and Its about 20k...but that's the base model, if you get all of those added into it then im sure it would be about 24k. I know how having the cutest car in the lot is important lol, the Jeep compass is cute too! the newer ones. 2010 and under are ugly i think. so a 2011-2012! its 4 cylinders and so cute! and affordable! i found one i was almost gonna get for 17k and its a 2012, but of course if you get anything added onto it (depending on what base and what you get in like nav or if you have awd which i recamend in a Jeep) it could go up to 36k but unlikely.....just remember everyone would like to have a brand new camaro or challenger or the biggest truck in town, but think about how you will pay for gas on those things lol i finally realized that myself!! and besides they are so expensive in this economy, but hey if you have the money go for it lol. but getting a newer car is also cheaper you pay more interest on a more older car so look into your parents bank and ask what their rates are.4. Says: Now, be reasonable. Don't listen to the other comments, because where are you going to get that money from. If you want a fast reliable sports car, get a toyota spider mr2 of if you don't like the toyota badge (like me) choose a lexus FSP350. I you want some damn car to get you from a to b get any random car available.5. Says: well a Bentley of course. & i've heard Lamborghini's are great if you're 16 & looking for a reliable ride. Just don't make the same mistake i did & drive it drunk into a ditch.6. Says: chevy malibu. its a good car and good on gas.good speakers and they drive fast.7.
