I have a question about my cars gas mileage.?

1. CDF&DSM Says: My car gets 22, city, and 30, highway. Is that good?

2. Norm Says: That's better than most cars. My gas-hog of a Ford Explorer gets about 15 city and 18 highway. My brand-new Ford Edge gets about 20 city and about 28 highway. To get better gas mileage than what you describe you'd have to get a car with a very small 4-cylinder engine or a hybrid, and those engines have NO acceleration whatsoever.

3. Conebone69 Says: pretty good for both, especially if it's fast, heavy, or an automatic transmission. It is not, however, anything special in today's standards. Consider it this way, heavy trucks get anywhere between 8-15mpg city.
