My 96 Accord EX has an F22B2 engine? normal?

accidentally discovered...surprise~2. SoCal Says: Yup F22B1 is the stock for your EX Accord, you have the LX/DX engine for some reason.

Stock engine probably went out so last owner went the cheaper route and got the lower model engine, that or it was stolen and replaced with a cheaper. Who knows.
Check your VIN number online just to see if it really is an EX chassis.3. MartinObviously Says: Yes, that is the engine it's supposed to have. It's only about 130HP.

It could be an engine swap though, I misread the "EX" lol. The EX has a whopping 15HP more.
