Cadillac Escalade EXT 2002 HELP PLEASE!?
(2012-02-05 15:20:04) 1. Says: I'm having issues with the steering.Took it to mechanic and they changed,
-Upper control arm
-Pitman Arm
-Idler Arm
-Inner Tie Rod
-Outer Tie Rod
and the truck was aligned.
It still pulls right, not as much as before but still pulls. And it squeals more than before.
What is going on? what can I do to fix this!?
It all cost me a pretty penny to fix too!2. Says: Sounds like you may have gotten ripped off.
A vehicle that just had front end work done and freshly aligned should not pull to one side or the other.
Take you car back to them and make them finish the job they started.
If they try to tell you that you need additional parts to make it right, just tell them that you already paid them to make it right and you will not pay more.
Tell all your friends the result of your experience with that particular shop.
I'd be willing to bet that it was a chain type auto repair service, not an independent shop.3. Says: Most roads angle right to allow rain to run off. Try driving SAFELY on the other side to see if it still pulls right, left, or at all. Check tire pressure on both sides of the front, a few pounds lower on the right will make it pull. If all seems good you may need to re-align at a different shop. My truck squealed more in tight turns after an allignment and pulled SLIGHTLY left in the left lane.4. Says: Ouch, it sounds like you have already sunk a lot of money on this. Since you have had the big stuff done maybe check the tire pressure and go some where like NTB and have the alignment checked.
