Before starting the turbine, compressor has to be started. For this purpose, an electric motor is mounted on the unit starts, a part of mechanical power of the turbine drives the compressor and there is no need of motor now.
2. The Super Bowl in 2012 Says: A small electric motor, run off the car battery, that engages the engine & spins it. When the engine starts, the starter motor dis-engages.
