Is there something wrong with my defroster button or is this normal?
(2012-02-05 15:20:09) 1. Says: Ok I just bought my first car ever and I'm confused with a few of the buttons. I will give you the link to the exact buttons of my car so you know exactly what I'm talking about. Basically my defroster lights are on (bottom right) and there's a YELLOW indicator. Example on picture shows the one next to the defroster is on. Ok, so no air is blowing out. The air flow is off, so nothing is blowing. Yet one of the lights HAVE to be on, whether defroster or the other buttons (in green light), so does one light HAVE to be on. I can't seem to shut off all the lights. But yet no air is blowing since air flow is turned off. So my question is, is there something wrong with the buttons and why does ONE light HAVE to be on, talking specifically about the light, but no air is coming out as it's off. I don't get it, is that even suppose to be normal? The link is http://cdn.getauto.com/photos/3/24023/3c/1HGCM56684A079333-3c.jpg2. Says: The light is on to tell you what the current mode position is.If no air is coming out your blower motor will need to be diagnosed3. Says: You can't turn it off. It is functioning normally.
