Electrical testing a portable generator?

1. Charles S Says: I have a Coleman Powermate 5000/6250 watt PM0545305 generator I checked the voltage without a load and it was at 133 volts, so I slowed down the idle so it was putting out 120 volts, I then checked the Hz and they were at 57.2 Hz, so I then adjusted the idle up to 60.55Hz but my voltage is also up to 131 volts. all these test were done without a load.
What is more important volts or Hz
I checked the meter on the house outlet first and it was 119 volts and 59.99 Hz
2. wildmanny2 Says: Run it at 60 hertz.The voltage will drop with a load.
