Left rear wheel camber is -1.5 degrees. Can this be corrected?
(2012-02-05 15:20:20) 1. Says: I just got back home from the dealer after getting new tires mounted, balanced, aligned, and getting some fluids flushed. I noticed that my car was slightly pulling left. I didn't see it until I got home, but they show the measurments before and after the alignment. All of the values were corrected except for the left rear wheel... which shows -1.5 degress.(I assume this explains the pull). I see online that there are kits to adust camber of a wheel. If this is true, why didn't they use one. They didn't even tell me that one value is still off.My car was in a collision a few years back which heavily damaged the right rear wheel and almost totaled the car. Could this be the cause of the alignment to be off on the left rear wheel? Should I take the car back and have them use a kit to correct it? Should I do it on my own? Can it really be corrected at all?2. Says: They should have mentioned it, at the very least. Alignment shops usually stock the kits for adjusting camber, and your car might even have stock adjustments already in place. The accident might have bent a control arm, causing the issue.
I'd call them and ask about the 1 wheel that wasn't dealt with, see what they tell you, then go from there. You're gonna have to find the problem with that wheel, and the camber kit might not be the answer. Tag: Left rear wheel camber is -1.5 degrees. Can this be corrected?
