MamaBas Says: How close to the due date should I get it done? Or in other words, how close to the due date can I leave it BEFORE I get it done? Thanks

Bazza Says: You can have it tested on the due date. However that may not be the best plan. Although the car is relatively new if it fails you will unable to use it until it is fixed. I always take mine in a month before it's due so that I have plenty of time to deal with any repairs. They always post date the MOT so you lose nothing.

Gizzard Puke Says: If you're having the vehicle serviced by a Peugeot dealer arrange for it to be done in the week before the due date for the MOT, earlier if you like. If you're not mechanically minded I would definitely advise an inspection by either the Peugeot dealer or a competent mechanic. Good luck, Gizz.

focus Says: Take it in about 3 1/2 weeks before then you have plenty of time to correct any faults before the due date. Better still take it to your local garage and have them check it over first before you take it for MOT.

hawk Says: As already mentioned , definately get it done min 2 weeks before expiry date , you lose nothing that way
