A question about the transmission in my truck?
(2012-02-06 15:20:08) 1. Says: I'm trying to order a shift kit for my 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.9(360) Magnum engine and I'm not having as much luck as you might think one would have. I'm trying to find one for towing (as I just purchased a 30' bumper pull travel trailer. It's an automatic but can't tell if it's an electronic transmission or not. Can I bring my vin number to the local Dodge dealership and get them to run it for me?P.S. If you got any tips for a good shift kit let me know. Thanks.2. Says: First off it is a 46re not a 46rh! Do not use a b+m shift kit. The are junk only use a transgo shift kit. Any transmission shop will sell you one.3. Says: B&M B3210227 should fit your 4 speed 46RH4.
