1. Brandon Parrish Says: Fuse blows as.soon as I insert it
2. Fast Eddy Says: The fuse is there for a reason, for safety. The fuse blows when something is wrong, ie short circuit, this stops the wiring melting and setting on fire. Have you just installed something or had the radio out or replaced? If you havn't touched anything, something has burnt out, or a live wire is touching earth (the bodyshell). need more information.

Might be the drivers electric window motor, they have a hard life, thing to do is disconnect the motor , try replace the fuse, see what happens, its like a process of elimination. good luck.
3. going_for_baroque Says: Eddy's right- you have to isolate the bad circuit to see what's making the fuse blow. Easiest thing- shut off the radio. If it still blows, isolate something else. You really need to find the short circuit because you could do your car some damage if you keep putting in bigger fuses. If you can, remove the wire for the driver's side window. Maybe the door locks, too. If you can't isolate the problem, you may have to take the car to a good diagnostic shop. ... Good luck!!
4. ? Says: You have a shorted power wire to ground. This is common on all cars on the driver side door. The wiring that runs from the body to the door is in a rubber protective boot. It bends every time you open or close the door. The boot will just "pull" out. Check for your short there. If that fails, you have to disconnect both door wiring connectors and the radio. Then with the doors closed and the dome light off and the headlights off (some cars have delay timers) disconnect the positive battery cable. Put a test light in between the battery cable and the battery post. Connect one connector at a time. You will have to crawl thru the window so have it down to re-connect one connector at a time. When the test light "lights up" you have found which circut is shorted or which circuts as several may run thru a connector..
5. bandit_60 Says: you have a short someplace. somewhere along the wiring harness there is a bare wire touching metal.take the door panels off and check the wiring harness going to the window motors.
6. thedamnmushroom Says: One fuse for all three of those things?

Make sure you have the right amperage of fuse.... then check your dash and radio for shorts.
