$5,700 for 2005 Mazda Mazda6 sedan with 78,000 miles? Worth it?

Says: I looked on price guide at www.nada.com the consumer section priced the mazda 6 4 cylinder at around 6,400 for trade in and about 9 grand for high retail the six cylinder was worth about a grand more or around 10,200 for high retail. sounds like a good deal to me have you takwn this car to a shop and have the mechanic give it a good inspection? do not skip this part as the mechanic can save you a whole lotta money if the car has major problems.I would go to carcompliaints.com and see what is written there as well. this is a website that has infomation on a lot of cars. I took a quick look and found very few complaints which was good, however each year had one or two engine failures. This would give me pause to consider why the owner is selling the car and I woulfd also make sure them mechanic was extra sharp about the condition of the engine.2.
