Due to Saab's poor design in many areas of this engine, the catalytic converter is known to clog up and cause a multitude of running and no start conditions. Southside Says: try to start the car, determine if you have spark and proceed to pull the plugs immediately and see if they are covered with gas.. if you still have the old plugs, examine them and see if they are covered with carbon, ( black, powdery). if so, i would suspect coolant temp sensor (not sender for gauge, but sensor for computer), or a bad map sensor. take a look and get back to me Tag: Saab 93 - 2001 2.0 liter turbo won't start?
