Says: I have never weighed one, but since it has little or no glass, it probably weighs half that of a full bug. Since the bug was about 1800 lbs, I would guess a dune buggy would be more like 900 lbs.
Hard to be much less since the engine has to be over 200, the transaxle over 150, front beam over 100, tires over 100, and the pan over 200.
